#BlackLivesMatter is not about trying to take down or challenge every individual racist in our country; that’s impossible. It is not about proclaiming that all white police officers are racists; that’s ignorant. It is about combating institutional racism in our country; that’s doable.
Is it worth ending a friendship when one friend disrespects the collective struggle of the other friend’s race?
What would happen if we hijacked an overtly racist and fearful campaign to highlight kindness and good in our world?
